The Genius of the Rain Machine
In Los Angeles in February 1969, Andy Warhol met with Maurice Tuchman and modern art curators at Los Angeles County Museum of Art to visit several Los Angeles companies with the intention of collaborating on the Art and Technology project. At that time he also attended the opening of Bruce Nauman's show of self-portrait holograms at Nicholas Wilder Gallery.

Rabih Hage is launching his first pop-up store with the highly acclaimed Dutch designer-producer, Piet Hein Eek.
The pop-up shop will be based on South Kensington’s Exhibition Road as part of the Brompton Design District. It will operate from the 18th September to 30 of October; coinciding with the London Design Festival, which runs from 13-23 September 2008.

The Gallery will exhibit a Pavilion designed by Rabih Hage Design Studio and built by EOS Electro Optical Systems Ltd. The VIP lounge at VOLTA is a space where key artists, collectors and influences in the international art world can meet; its design therefore has to reflect its importance as the focal point of VOLTA.
